This could have been a great headset. Talk and standby times are great, range is great, controls are OK and there are no pairing hassles with anything (tested on PCs, Macs, Windows Mobile phones and iPhone). But:
* The mic is next to useless. You will only be heard on the phone when shouting.
* Maximum volume level is too low, making it useless in exactly the kind of environment where you'd benefit most from wirelessness, such as a crowded, noisy train
* Headband/neckband too short for wider heads like mine

I bought my Samsung SBH170 Stereo Headphones for 23 bucks. That was an amazing price for the headphones, especially when the sound was so good. I didn't expect sound that rivaled more expensive headphones.
I bought these to listen to online radio and music on my HTC Touch Pro and they were well worth it. They are rated for around 8 hours or talk playback time, but I tested them with continuous stereo music at 8.5 hours before turning them off. They ran another 2 hours the next day before they began to give me a low battery signal (it takes about 3 hours for them to fully recharge).
The SBH170's are easy to use. The controls are on the left ear and easy to remember. The volume control is a little hard to get to (I have large hands) but it is still workable. The hands-free button for talking is easy to use and works flawlessly.
Talking is not too bad on the SBH170. Your voice is heard fairly well but it is not as good as a common higher cost single ear Bluetooth headset. I bought these for the wireless stereo capability, so taking a hands free call (or making one) is not as important to me. Still, it is better than passable.
The SBH170 is not as comfortable as I'd like it to be. The speakers are fairly heavy, and while that helps the sound playback, the headphones tend to hurt my ears after a couple hours. I need to adjust them every so often, but I do not normally wear them that long anyway so at the cost they are great for my needs. The headphones are "one size fits all" so it would be nice if Samsung would design them to be more adjustable. In fact, if the headset was adjustable and more comfortable they would be perfect for my needs.
I want to mention that I also bought Cardo S-2 Bluetooth Wireless Stereo Headphones for around 25 bucks and while they are more comfortable, and lighter, I believe they are inferior to the Samsung SBH170.
If I had to pay the full price I would give the SBH170's 4 stars. But despite the lack of comfort, and the fact that cell phone talking is just a bit better than passable, I am rating these 5 stars based on the great playback time, the great stereo sound and the low cost.
