I bought this for my daughter's birthday. It came in a beautiful gold box and looked good at first. But then my daughter came to me to complain that the little round "M" badge had fallen off and the boom arm had separated into two halves in addition to static and short range problems. I snapped the boom arm back together but noticed other little fit and finish issues. So I went to the Motorola site that tells how to spot a fake (you can find it by googling "h700 fake") and this one fails the tests, most obviously the headset ear hook covers the print on the back. I'm very disappointed. I thought Amazon was the one place I could buy Motorola and not have to worry about fakes.

My son is very pleased with this product. He had no problem setting it up. A great Christmas present for him. I'll feel better about him driving now with his cell phone.
