I really like this headset and I have many! This headset was very easy to sync and works well with the Apple iPhone. The volume buttons are very easily accessible and the charge last for a lengthy amount of time I love how I don't have to worry about having something stuck in my ear! I hate those types of headsets. This fits at your ear very comfortably. I would have liked the volume feature to be a little louder, as I have found myself not able to hear as well as I have on some of the "in the ear" bluetooth sets. The only other thing that I don't like is that the access the charge is not universal. It has a different prong type, so I can't use the generic USB cables that I have used for several of my other headsets. And, now I have misplaced the cord, so I haven't been able to charge it.

...overall it's a decent Bluetooth unit. Ergonomically and functionally it's very nice... I do have some issue with the volume... I have a hard time hearing at freeway speeds some of the time.....

I bought this wireless headset to use with Dragon Naturally Speaking voice recognition software as this was the only wireless headset they recommended with a 5 star rating. However, the wired headset I have gives better accuracy. Set is very well made. Long battery life. Good clarity for handphone use but expensive as compared to other bluetooth headsets.

Thinking myself clever, I replaced my desk phone with a cordless bluetooth setup (Siemens SL785 and SL78H) so that I could share a bluetooth headset with my BB Bold and rid myself of some wires. The BW900 had good reviews for long-wear comfort and audio quality, and I have a Sennheiser HMD 45-6 I really love, so the BW900 figured large in my plan. Well, I was sorely disappointed.



The Siemens SL785 is great. Very clean audio, easy interface, feels and looks good. However, the BW900 doesn't play nice with it, at least for me. I thought it must be the Siemens, but then I got the same scratchy audio with my Bold and also my old Nokia N80. I started suspecting bluetooth in general since this was my first go.



I sent it back, which is sad because I did love the dock. I replaced it with a Plantronics Voyager Pro, just to see if my master plan really was madness. Well, I got the Plantronics a few days ago and... it rocks! It's easy to put on with its flexible rubbery ear loop. One of the reasons I went with the BW900 the first time was the not-in-the-ear speaker. That was nice. However, I'm finding the Plantronics easier to get onto and off of my ear, and since I'm not on the phone all day, the earbud doesn't have time to bother me. It's actually comfortable.



The BW900 is b-i-g BIG. Surprisingly, it does rest well on the ear. I like Sennheiser, and I would expect 2.0 to be improved.

Works really well for a bluetooth headset. I bought it to use with Dragon NaturallySpeaking (voice recognition) and enjoy using it. I've used it with my cellphone a few times and haven't been disappointed with the signal from several rooms away (my house has plaster walls and brick exterior).



The controls are easy to reach, it's well designed for fitting on the ear without being heavy or lopsided and the fact that it fits either left or right side without having to change/switch/move anything on it is a plus. Battery life is good and the land-line interrupt feature is nice (though I haven't used it). But all the advanced stuff works well so I'd bet the legacy portion of it probably works fine. The base comes with an lot to recharge an extra battery.

This was a huge disappointment. Having gone through about 5 high end bluetooth devices in the past year and not being able to tolerate cramming plastic ear buds into my ear, I had high hopes. I wanted to use this for both voice recognition as well as wireless for my cell and my VOIP phone in my office.



It worked great on the office phone and was extremely comfortable. However, there was a problem picking up the line from the handset or speaker phone.



On the cell phone it was absolutely useless. Every other word would cut out. No one could understand what I was saying. Just utterly useless. I went back to my jawbone for cell usage.



Even bluetooth for PCs for voice recognition was spotty. On my desktop it would not even meet the minimum quality for DNS. However, it worked great on my laptop.



Sadly, just spotty all around.

Initially loved the VMX-100. I really liked the fact that there is not an ear bud that stickes in your ear. It had great sound quality on both ends. Plenty of battery time for a days use. However after less than a week or so the charging port messed up. I dont know why... I tried a new cable and still no go. I will be sending this one back. Went to a Plantronics Voyger Pro.

Love it, love it, love it!



Short and sweet... I have gone through a half dozen bluetooth headsets. This one is the most comfortable BY FAR, sits on the ear without moving AT ALL, and sounds the best BY FAR. This headset holds a small speaker up to your ear; nothing at all is inserted into the ear canal. Most definitely a better idea! Previous fave was Plantronics Voyage 510, but one of those fell apart after about six months, a second one died after being used six times. And the sound quality of this unit is head and shoulders above the 510, and two other Plantronics models I have used.



Just got this yesterday, but I can wear it all day, only hope that it lasts. BTW I bought it for slightly less elsewhere... just check with the usual suspects.

While I really want to love this thing and I think it's the best looking and feeling/fitting bluetooth earpiece hands down, I'm frustrated by it's apparent shortcoming of, well, being a bluetooth earpiece.



In my limited tech knowledge, I can't say if the problem is with this particular earpiece, the bluetooth radio in my cell phone, or with bluetooth technology in general. I would lean towards the technology and bluetooth radio just to give Sennheiser the benefit of the doubt, because I now they make quality products.



The problems when I use the VMX100 are the person on the other end of the conversation hears an echo of my voice and/or their voice, or if the earpiece is farther than 2 or 3 feet from my cell phone or if the phone is on my right side, while the earpiece is in my left ear, there is static and choppy audio on both ends.



While I don't encounter these problems all of the time, I encounter them enough to feel that the earpiece is unreliable for important communication, and I find myself switching to the hardwire earpiece quite a bit, especially for business calls.



As I said earlier, it's possible the problem lies with the bluetooth radio in my phone or just the technology in general. There's just no way for me to know. I would say for the price though, it's probably worth picking one up and seeing how it works for you. If you have to have a wireless earpiece, this is definitely the one to get.

I have used a lot of headsets and this is by far the best, my sound quality is excellent and a lot of people that I talk to say that they hear me better on this than on any other set I have used. Previous sets that have a button that inserts into the ear never fit me well but this one that hooks over the ear is so much more comfortable and feels secure. Cost is comparable to my old Jawbone but I like this much better. Battery life is great and it's easy to turn off and on. Only one small issue, occasionally sound into my ear increases briefly for no apparent reason but quickly goes back to normal.

I have bought two of these. The first one stopped working but I loved the BT so I bought another. This is one of the most comfortable I have owned. I have 17 BT headsets and was still looking for the one. Then I found this one which is very worth the money.

I gave it 3 stars because I think it should of lasted longer than it did.

I am not sure why others are having issues with this headset. I have had them for two weeks now. I was able to sync with my iPod Touch and my Blackberry 8830 within a few minutes. Phone calls are nice and clear, music is also good. I used the headset for an international call for over an hour and had no problems, no drops, no noise, just good clear sound. One thing I did not expect was that the phone call come through both earpieces. So I was able to use them both, block out unwanted noises and concentrate on the call.



I have looked for a solution like this for a while now. I was never big on the Borg look of having an earpiece in your ear all day when there are no calls. This headset is just there, waiting for use. When I need it, or my phone rings I just pop it in my ear and away I go. I few times the unit was off when the phone rang and I was able to turn it on, let it sync and still have time to answer the call.



In my opinion this is the perfect solution for bluetooth connection.

These work quite well with my iPhone 3GS. I have better performance using them for music than with the phone though. The overall sonic feel depends on the recording - they are bass heavy. I also own a pair of Shure's highly priced SE530's with the mobile phone adapter. In my opinion the SE530's are the overall best pair of headphones I've ever owned.



Right now the Sennheiser MM200's are my favorites because they're convenient. One thing to keep in mind is while Bluetooth technology has come a long way it is not perfect. Though they are infrequent you will experience sound drop outs as well as audio synchronization issues with video.



Also note the MM200's are capable of controlling the music player on your phone. However, the iPhone 3.0 OS does not support a complete AVRCP Bluetooth profile so you will be able to control play and pause functions but no track skipping.

I bought this product from amazon to pair with my laptop and mp3 player. Unfortunately, it has horrible range, extending out only to about 7 feet and only if there is a clear line of sight. In any other case, the audio quality drops off precipitously. I have tried pairing this with both my macbook pro and my mp3 player and in both cases the range is terrible. Also, simply waking around wearing the headphones with the mp3 player in my pocket yielded terrible static as well.



On the plus side, it does have a very good fit--snug yet not uncomfortable for long uses. The fit also does a very good job of blocking out ambient sound, though not as well as dedicated noise canceling systems. Pairing with devices was similarly without problem.



These headphones would have rated better if not for the poor range, which effectively negates any advantage of having wireless headphones.
