Initially loved the VMX-100. I really liked the fact that there is not an ear bud that stickes in your ear. It had great sound quality on both ends. Plenty of battery time for a days use. However after less than a week or so the charging port messed up. I dont know why... I tried a new cable and still no go. I will be sending this one back. Went to a Plantronics Voyger Pro.

Love it, love it, love it!
Short and sweet... I have gone through a half dozen bluetooth headsets. This one is the most comfortable BY FAR, sits on the ear without moving AT ALL, and sounds the best BY FAR. This headset holds a small speaker up to your ear; nothing at all is inserted into the ear canal. Most definitely a better idea! Previous fave was Plantronics Voyage 510, but one of those fell apart after about six months, a second one died after being used six times. And the sound quality of this unit is head and shoulders above the 510, and two other Plantronics models I have used.
Just got this yesterday, but I can wear it all day, only hope that it lasts. BTW I bought it for slightly less elsewhere... just check with the usual suspects.

While I really want to love this thing and I think it's the best looking and feeling/fitting bluetooth earpiece hands down, I'm frustrated by it's apparent shortcoming of, well, being a bluetooth earpiece.
In my limited tech knowledge, I can't say if the problem is with this particular earpiece, the bluetooth radio in my cell phone, or with bluetooth technology in general. I would lean towards the technology and bluetooth radio just to give Sennheiser the benefit of the doubt, because I now they make quality products.
The problems when I use the VMX100 are the person on the other end of the conversation hears an echo of my voice and/or their voice, or if the earpiece is farther than 2 or 3 feet from my cell phone or if the phone is on my right side, while the earpiece is in my left ear, there is static and choppy audio on both ends.
While I don't encounter these problems all of the time, I encounter them enough to feel that the earpiece is unreliable for important communication, and I find myself switching to the hardwire earpiece quite a bit, especially for business calls.
As I said earlier, it's possible the problem lies with the bluetooth radio in my phone or just the technology in general. There's just no way for me to know. I would say for the price though, it's probably worth picking one up and seeing how it works for you. If you have to have a wireless earpiece, this is definitely the one to get.

Sennheiser VMX 100 - Headset ( over-the-ear ) - wireless - Bluetooth 2.0
I have used a lot of headsets and this is by far the best, my sound quality is excellent and a lot of people that I talk to say that they hear me better on this than on any other set I have used. Previous sets that have a button that inserts into the ear never fit me well but this one that hooks over the ear is so much more comfortable and feels secure. Cost is comparable to my old Jawbone but I like this much better. Battery life is great and it's easy to turn off and on. Only one small issue, occasionally sound into my ear increases briefly for no apparent reason but quickly goes back to normal.

I have bought two of these. The first one stopped working but I loved the BT so I bought another. This is one of the most comfortable I have owned. I have 17 BT headsets and was still looking for the one. Then I found this one which is very worth the money.
I gave it 3 stars because I think it should of lasted longer than it did.
