"Sound excellent and so is aesthetics!" 2009-08-04
By C. B. Nguyen
I will give my honest review, this bluetooth headset is superb! I was surprised by how small the headset was and how light it felt on my ear. It fit me really well and I would say the bigger ur ear the more "fit" it will be on u. The sound is amazing actually, as good as the ipod headphones (the 79$ new ones). The bass may be low since it isnt a "in-ear" type but u can simply go to music setting in ipod and increase the bass in equalizer. The sound does not cut off when I went across from one side of the house to the other, after that the sound cuts off. One thing to be careful is if u plan on exercising in them, I wouldnt because the ear muff on the headset doesnt come off so it will absorb sweat and stink eventually if sweat drips on it.

"Not for exercising, that's for sure!" 2009-07-28

I bought these headphones with the specific purpose of using them when I work out at the gym. I guess if you have no intention of ever sweating while wearing them, these headphones would be okay. I bought my first pair and they died within a couple of weeks. I returned them to Amazon for a replacement, no problem. The second pair managed to last 38 days, which happens to be 8 days longer than Amazon's merchandise return window. So now I am stuck with an $80 piece of garbage. Don't get me wrong, they sounded great and the controls were very easy to use........when they were working. They were a bit bulky hanging on your ears, but I was willing to accept that to eliminate the wires. This is the first item made by Sony that I have ever been disappointed with. Usually, I buy Sony because it's a no-brainer. Their stuff is always good quality and well made. Not this time! My advice is to do some research and check around. If you are looking for something to excercise with, stay far away from these things!

 "Fantastic Bluetooth Headphones!" 2009-07-24

These headphones are great. They work perfectly with my iPod Touch updated to 3.0 and they work great with my iMac! I can leave the Touch on one floor of the house and go onto another and still listen to what I am playing. Sound is crisp and clear. Highly recommend!

"Not what I was hoping for" 2009-07-22
By J. Anderson (Fort Mill, SC)
Overall these were not what I was hoping for and didn't work out as well for me as other products of its kind have. While the headphones definitely did what they were supposed to do, and in general I am a big fan of over the ear phones, these just ended up feeling awkward to me and didn't work well at all.

These headphones will do what you want them to do, but just be aware before you buy them that they are each a lot thicker than you might expect them to be and will take some getting used to having them on your ears. As you can read in other reviews many people have and enjoy them completely, but for me the size and awkwardness was not something I could overcome. I wish they had pictures of the width of the head phones on the website so you could see it before you buy.

If you can get used to them being on your ears, the sound quality and all the basic functionality works fine. I should point out for iPhone users that they have not implemented the bluetooth functionality all that well on the iPhone. The push to talk button does a "redial" instead of bringing up the voice calling like you would expect, and next and forward buttons are not supported by the iPhone. That is not an issue with the headphones though as I have tried 3 different headphones and all have the same problem with the iPhone that just doesn't have this functionality working as well as they should.

Anyway, hope this helps you make your decision, I ended up going with the Mororola S9 which was a little cheaper and despite my preference of over the ear phones worked out better for me.

"1'st Pair of Bluetooth Phones Good Buy!" 2009-07-21
By Michael D. Robarge (Milwaukee WI)
I'm usually too lazy to review my buys, but when one is extremely good or bad I feel compelled to do so. Read the reviews on these phones and decided to take the plunge. Glad I did. Always been a fan of Sony headphones because you get quality sound without paying high end prices. I'm closing in on age 50 and didn't even realize bluetooth head phones were in existence until I bought an Ipod touch 2G. Well, I had to give them a try as I was getting tired of the long plug in cord getting hung up on the bushes and other stuff while mowing the lawn and stuff around the house. These phones are easy to set up and the bluetooth sound is better than I had with the plugins. Don't know what all the buttons on the headphones do yet, but the one I probably only care about, the volume up and down, is easily accessible even for a dude with big clumsy fingers. I recommend them for someone not looking to spend too much to not notice any sound quality change!
